GASTIGHT SHUT-OFF VALVES

GASTIGHT SHUT-OFF VALVE AND REMOVABLE DISC

Gastight valves are commonly used in ventilation ducts to control airflow or seal the duct completely. These valves are specifically designed to operate in hazardous gas environments and maintain their airtightness even under significant pressure variations.

Gastight shut-off valves are used to stop or redirect airflow within the ductwork. They play an important role in ensuring that the right amount of fresh or filtered air is supplied to the space, depending on the (shelter’s) operational mode. These valves are typically installed in ducts that allow free airflow to and from the shelter during normal operations. However, they can be used to seal these openings in an emergency or crisis situation.

Andair provides gastight shut-off valves in various sizes and functions, which can be operated manually and electronically. These valves have been used in demanding environments providing maximum security and operational efficiency.
